Head Coach: Derek Jenesky
Derek has an undergraduate degree from Western New England College and has been employed fulltime by Stonehill since 2000, in the capacity of Assistant Director of Rec Sports. He began coaching the Men's rugby team in '01. The team has won two New England and Regional championships (‘02+'03) under his watch, both times finishing as the national runner-up.
Assistant Coach: Joe Simonson
Joe, a graduate of Stonehill ('05), played on the Men's team from '00-'05. A part of the '02 New England and Regional championship team, he was named captain in Fall '04. Joining the men's team staff in fall '07, he has been instrumental in guiding them back to DIII after a short stint in DIV.
Assistant Coach: Tom Sullivan
Tom joined the staff in 2011, focusing primarily on coaching the backs and rugby sevens. He played rugby from 2001 to 2007 for the University at Albany, Syracuse Chargers, Lansdowne RFC New York, and New York Rugby Club (rugby sevens). Tom has an undergraduate degree from the University at Albany and a graduate degree from Syracuse University.
